Concerning Product Shipping Questions

1. "What will the shipping costs be for my order?"

Shipping used to be simple with USPS until about 1 year ago. As of July 1, 2002, the United States Postal Service began charging rates like UPS and FedEx (Zone dependant). After that change, publishing correct shipping charges has become impossible. We currently employ two methods to determine shipping charges (both are a little archaic).

Choose the items you wish to purchase by adding them to the shopping cart. Once you are finished, fill out the order form and begin the checkout process. The shipping options and associated charges will be displayed for you to pick from.

I've ordered products and services online for many years now and have ran across these same issues over and over on almost all sites. Because I ship worldwide and my package weights vary so much, I cannot afford to offer over-simplified shipping charges. It never fails...someone always gets the short end of the stick.

Please review the 2 different methods. One will definitely be less expensive. I encourage you to pick the least expensive...I would!

2. When can I expect to receive my order?

Orders are shipped one of two ways:

United States Postal Service (USPS)

US Destinations - All products are shipped via USPS "Priority Mail". These packages take between 2-3 business days to be delivered. (please note...this is shipping time. It can take up to 2 business days for the productsto be processed and shipped out.)

International Orders - Packages are shipped USPS "Airmail Letter Post" or "Airmail Parcel Post". Please choose the least expensive option, if given the choice. The most expensive option is "Airmail Parcel Post" and is the only option available for packages weighing over 4 lbs.

Federal Express (FedEx) Only available when placing Online Orders

FedEx Ground - This is a good option for heavier packages that are being shipped throughout the Continental United States. These packages usually take 3-7 business days to be delivered.

Concerning Ferm-T Products

1. "How soon before I see signs of growth in my thinning areas?"

Of course results will vary, but daily use will insure a clean and healthy scalp condition that will promote healthy hair growth. You should not be so concerned with how fast growth takes place, but concentrate on creating the right scalp condition. Once the scalp is clean and healthy, the natural progressive hair growth and regeneration will begin to occur at its own rate. New hair growth can begin in as little as 2-3 weeks, but may take up to 2-6 months before it is really noticable.

2. "After 2 weeks, my scalp is tight and itchy. What causes this?"

This feeling is sometimes felt due to an increase in circulation caused by the natural exfoliation process. This may happen again as built up layers of dead skin and deposits are loosened and rinsed away. For some, the tingly feeling is caused by hair growing out of the once dormant hair follicles that have now been rejuvenated.

3. "My scalp appears to be slightly pink...Why?"

The scalp is going through the natural, gentle exfoliation of buildup. Avoid the risk of sunburn at this time.

4. "I've used your products for less than 2 weeks and have noticed an increase in fallout...Why?"

Some hairs are barely held on by hardened sebum and will fall away as the buildup is loosened and removed. Don't become discouraged. Under these conditions, the hair that falls out will be replaced with a new hair once the scalp is healthier. After years of hair loss, it requires a little patience as you create a healthy scalp condition that will allow the hair follicle to function properly.

5. "I have an itchy scalp due to psoriasis. Is this product going to aggravate it or help it?"

Using the Ferm-T provides will provide tremendous relief and healing. I've talked with scores of my customers who've suffered from very serious Psoriasis...All have had great results. Make sure you use the Jojoba Oil, along with the other products.

6. "I'm still getting quite bad dandruff or itchy scalp. What is the best way to combat this?"

Apply the Jojoba Oil/Shampoo mixture (5-8 drops of jojoba oil and a pea-size amount of shampoo) all over your scalp at night...an additional 2 times a week. This is in addition to the regular daily shampooing and mixture application. Also try gently brushing your scalp and hair with a soft bristled brush for about 5 minutes each day. Adding these steps with speed up the scalp conditioning process.

7. "How long does the creamy lotion (Step 2) take to absorb?"

The creamy lotion will absorb within 1 minute. If it takes longer, you may be using too much.

8. "Is this for color-treated, permed or straightened hair?"

Yes, Ferm-T is gentle and safe for hair that has been chemically treated. Ferm-T seals the cuticle layer of the hair, which may help treatments to last longer. Ferm-T also adds shine and luster to the hair.

9. "Are Ferm-T products made for African American textured hair?"

Ferm-T products work very well on African American hair textures. Many people are concerned about the frequency of washing their hair (daily) due to drying out effects. This can be a problem if the jojoba oil is not used frequently enough. I suggest to my African American customers to wash their hair only 3 -4 x's per week if this is a concern of theirs. Ferm-T products are all-natural and produce absolutely no side-effects, except healthy, vibrant hair!

10. "Do I have to use the products on a daily basis?"

The Ferm-T Starter Kit products should be used on a daily basis for maximum results. If this is not possible, use them at least twice a week. Consistent, daily use will maximize your results.

11. "Does Ferm-T work for pattern baldness?"

Most often, the cause of hair loss leading to baldness is directly related to excessive androgens, cholesterol, testostorene and sebum, dead skin cells and foreign particles that clog and smother the hair follicle openings. This is a 'closed door' effect that deprives the hair follicle of nutrition, thus inhibiting the bulb of the hair to generate hair growth. The hair follicle then goes into a 'resting' or 'dormant' phase. By using
Ferm-T products, you can topically control the imbalance of your scalp and help stop the 'closed door' effect.

12. "How does Ferm-T promote healthy hair growth?"

1. "Can I safely use your Hgh Plus product?"

Hgh Plus was formulated by Dr. Orman and tested for over 5 years. Its benefits are accomplished without any risk or potential side effects to the user. It has been clinically proven to raise IGF-1 levels (Hgh level) an average of 70% in just 60 days!

2. "How do you use Hgh Plus?"

As a dietary supplement, take 10 drops in 1/4 cup of water, 2 times per day on an empty stomach...once before breakfast and once before lunch.
